We have to look at practical ways of encouraging and supporting more Black people into the industry, this is the most impactful way we will improve ethnic diversity.
A new mandate enforced by the Victorian Government will see more women enter the construction industry in a bid to “disrupt” gender stereotypes in a male-dominated sector.
Have you thought about how women, transmen and non-binary people would be protected from discrimination based on the menopause and peri-menopause in your work place? Is this clearly addressed in your policies? Have people had training on what could constitute discrimination?
We lose so much talent from the workforce by not supporting people through this time, which for many is both physically and mentally exhausting.

On The Tools are carrying out research to better understand what it's like for females in the industry right now.
