The editorial from Samantha McClary in Estates Gazette speaks about racism in the real estate industry following the racist remarks sent to our footballers after Euro 2020 "I’m not surprised because every time I write something about race, ethnicity, diversity or inclusion, I get letters telling me to stop. That this is not the place. Letters that start “I’ve got nothing against black people, but…”."
Non-Binary People’s Day is observed on the 14th July each year and was chosen as it falls exactly between International Women’s day & International Men’s day. The aim of the day is to celebrate and validate the lives and contributions of Non-binary people whilst raising awareness of the struggles they still face.
The winners of the Inspire Awards were announced this week, and they really are worth celebrating. An extra special shout out to my client, Fortel, who won Most Inspiring Supplier, with judges particularly impressed with their diversity and inclusion strategy.
