This is amazing news, the FTSE350 have achieved their target of 40% women on boards - 3 years early!
They have reached 40.2% up from 9.5% in 2011, which is a huge shift, and demonstrates what can be done if there is a focus on it.
There is still work to do, there are still not many women in leading exec roles such as CEO and Financial Directors for example, but this really is a moment for celebration.
